About

Skuld Offshore

Skuld has a long and proud history of providing shipowners around the world with Protection and Indemnity cover and of serving them at their time of need. Insurance is purchased for a reason and as a mutual we understand more clearly than any commercial company the needs of our members and clients.

Skuld Offshore has emerged as one of the leading providers of specialist insurance covers to the offshore contracting arena.

In 2008 Skuld re-launched its offshore division, recruiting Gregory Thomas to lead all of its offshore activities. Prior to joining Skuld, he had many years’ experience as a buyer of marine and energy insurance. Rather than just being another insurer providing standard products, he wanted Skuld Offshore to be a specialist division providing world buyers with tailor-made products to suit their circumstances. This approach has been welcomed by the industry as being fresh and different.

Our clear understanding of our target audience is the prime reason why skuld offshore has grown so quickly.
